WealthDesk does not collect, share, or sell any personal data. All your calculations, goals, wealth data, and document scans are stored privately on your device and optionally in your personal iCloud account — visible only to you. Nothing is transmitted to the developer or any third-party server.

WealthDesk: Finance Tracker ("the app", "we", "our") is an independent iOS application designed to help Indian investors plan SIP investments, track mutual fund and stock portfolios, watch live markets, and manage their overall wealth. The app is published on the Apple App Store.

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following on our servers (we have none):

Your name, email address, or phone number • Location data • Device identifiers or advertising IDs • Usage analytics or crash reports sent to third-party servers • Any personal information that leaves your device to our infrastructure

All data you enter — including financial account numbers, government ID scans, and asset details — is stored exclusively on your device and your personal iCloud account (if enabled). It is never accessible to the developer.

The app stores the following data entirely on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

Retirement Profile — your age, retirement age, and city tier entered during onboarding. • Goals — goal names, target amounts, timelines, and annual return rates. • Saved Scenarios — names and calculator bookmarks. • Mutual Fund Virtual Portfolio — fund names, scheme codes, and allocation percentages. • Mutual Fund Watchlist — fund scheme codes for NAV and return tracking. • Mutual Fund Holdings — fund names, units held, purchase price, dates, folio numbers, broker/platform, and depository (NSDL or CDSL) if imported from a CAS statement. • Ongoing SIPs — SIP amounts, frequency, and fund associations. • Stock Watchlists — NSE/BSE stock tickers, global stock symbols, and crypto identifiers you add to your personal watchlists, along with any price alert thresholds you set. • Virtual Stock Portfolio — hypothetical stock baskets with ticker symbols, weights, and creation date. • My Stocks — stock name, exchange ticker, quantity, purchase price, and optionally demat account details (DP ID, Client ID) you enter or import from a CAS statement. • My Wealth / External Assets — asset names, values, categories, and optionally: account numbers, IFSC codes, and BIC/SWIFT codes you enter for nominee reference. • Identity Documents — scanned images of government-issued IDs (Aadhaar, PAN card, Passport, Foreign Residence Permit, or other documents) that you choose to store. These images are compressed and stored entirely on your device. They are included in the PDF wealth statement only when you explicitly choose to share it.

This data never leaves your device except through Apple's iCloud sync (see below) or when you explicitly export and share it.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Camera and Photo Library Access ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

When you add an identity document, the app may request access to:

Camera — to photograph a physical ID card. • Photo Library — to select an existing photo or scan from your library.

These permissions are only used to capture or select the image you want to store. No image is transmitted to the developer or any external server. Images are stored locally on your device (and synced to your personal iCloud if enabled).

You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera / Photos → WealthDesk.

If you are signed into iCloud on your device and have iCloud Drive enabled, the app uses Apple's CloudKit service to sync your data — including goals, portfolio holdings, external assets, and identity document scans — across your personal Apple devices.

This data is stored in your private iCloud account — not accessible to us or any third party.
